It looked so luscious, happy, and festive. After lunch was over I lovingly felt the rose petals. I rubbed them on my fingers feeling the softness of the petals against my skin. I was thinking about why roses are so special. What do I love about them? What is it about roses that evoke feelings of love, happiness, passion, femininity, and deep emotion? Some flower petals have that soft, sturdy, velvety feeling but not quite like the red rose. Not all red rose petals feel the same. I thought about how my parents used rose water, which is made from cooking rose petals or crushing the rose petals.
The rose petals are clearly special. The inner petals that made me think about discovering inner worlds.
